When you are blessed with twins, your whole life changes. The joy that comes with it can be overwhelming. It is even more adorable if you are a first-time parent. You now have two kids to take care of, and you look forward to watching them grow. However, if you have been in a situation similar to mine, you also know that the real challenge starts when you are supposed to take care of the two children, and still attend to some chores.
When they start crawling and moving to every corner of the house, your job becomes even harder. They will be moving around and pulling or pushing everything they come across. If you are not careful enough, they can cause a lot of damage in just a few minutes. They also expose themselves to injuries and many other risks while at it. The only way you can keep track of these children is by finding a baby monitor. Here is why I loved this baby monitor for twins.
The split monitor facility
Anyone that has ever taken care of twins will tell you that they rarely stick in the same places. When one is heading to the kitchen, the other will already be on the balcony, or in the bathrooms. This means that while you are focusing on one, you hardly will know what the other is up to. It is because of this that I like a monitor that has split functions. This way, it makes it easy for me to watch over all the kids without having to ignore one.
The range of coverage
Another reason why I loved this baby monitor for kids is the range of coverage. We have a large house, and there are no domestic assistants. Therefore, the kids are allowed to play around and go wherever they feel like. The problem is that some of the monitors out there only have a small coverage range. With them, you will notice that the kid has gone out of signal, and you can hardly tell where they are, or what they are doing. You may start looking for them outdoors when they have crawled under the bed and even fell asleep. Any parent can relate to the stress and panic that such a situation causes.
Sound and video output
The best baby monitors are always based on the quality of video and audio output, and I always look at it when buying. I like those that give out clear audio and video. For instance, if you are getting a video of the kid holding something but you cannot tell what it is, it is an indication that the monitor is not a reliable one. You may want to replace it with something better.
Of course, I can proudly say that another reason why I loved this baby monitor for twins is the price. Even though it comes with amazing features, I did not have to pay an arm and a leg for it. It is one of those monitors that give you amazing value for less money.
